Is to find out about my ancestors on the TETERUD & LEECH side of the family so that my children and my grand children and my relatives on the TETERUD & LEECH side of the family will know more about our ancestors and other relatives. I also hope that other TETERUD & LEECH may also find some of there heritage from this page as well.

I hope that I can get all my relatives on all sides in helping me as it is a FAMILY EFFORT and takes a FAMILY EFFORT to obtain all the information that can be sought. Family tree history and information should be passed along to other family members freely without cost and that is the purpose of this page to do just that. Family roots are important to all family members not just a few! It takes all family members giving of their time and memories, digging into whatever they can to find the info to allow other family members to learn about there family root. So in deed it is a family affair and the information cannot be obtained only by one or two people. So I hope all of you will help me with stories, with family photos, with names, address, phone numbers. Anything that you can do to put our family tree together for other family members who do not have a clue.

The biggest thing that I've learned over my past short 52 years of life is that LIVE IS TOO SHORT. When our older generations pass on, we have lost very valuable family history information. We have lost our most important bridge between our family roots and our younger generations. What a valuable commodity we have lost if we didn't learn as much from our grand parents and great great grandparents about our family as we could and should have.

So I would hope that everyone helps me with this task that I have began and I would also hope that you would tell all of your family members about my effort in trying to put our family tree and history together as well as to visit this page on a weekly basis and to check for any errors I might have as well as to continue to give me new information, new stories that have been remembered, sending me new pictures old and new so that I can continuously update this page. Help me to help your children and grandchildren to learn more about our family history and roots.
